Systematic literature research on disability and workplace studies

Tags

Accessibility, Disability Studies, workplace studies, literature review

Background

Against the background of social and legal relevance as well as in the context of different projects, the topic of accessibility (barrier-free access, inclusion) is dealt with. The aim is to present the different SoA and discourses.

Task

People with disabilities still do not participate equally in working life, although many new technologies would make it possible to make workplaces more barrier-free and thus employ people with disabilities or limitations. It is not always technological reasons that are given, rather organisational, societal and personal aspects also need to be addressed in this sensitive setting. Create a literature review on “Disability and workplace Studies”.

The systematic literature review should contain, describe and compare an overview of current and relevant publications. The discourses in the field of “Accessibility and employment of people with disabilities” should be elaborated, discussed and research gaps identified.
